- **Automation & Scripting:** Author clean Python and Bash scripts for automated health probes, database backups, telemetry collection, and deployment hooks.
- **Container Orchestration:** Manage multi-container deployments using Docker and Docker Compose, configure Caddy reverse proxies, and ensure zero-downtime rolling deploys.
- **CI/CD & Security:** Maintain GitHub Actions deployment pipelines using keyless Workload Identity Federation (WIF) and adhere to least-privilege IAM policies.
- **FinOps & Cost Governance:** Track cloud resource utilization, eliminate idle assets, and optimize compute sizing to maintain tight monthly budget guardrails.
- **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Assist in writing and reviewing declarative Terraform configurations for automated, repeatable cloud infrastructure.

#### What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- **1 – 2 years of professional software engineering or systems experience** working with Linux, cloud infrastructure, and Python.
- **Strong Linux Fundamentals:** Comfortable navigating Linux terminal environments, managing processes (`ps`, `htop`, `systemctl`), managing file permissions, and debugging network connectivity (`curl`, `netstat`, `lsof`).
- **Hands-on Cloud Experience:** Practical experience with **any major cloud provider** (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Microsoft Azure) in any capacity (compute instances, cloud storage, networking, IAM).
- **Python Scripting:** Ability to write clean, maintainable Python scripts to automate tasks, interact with cloud REST APIs, or parse operational logs.
- **Container Basics:** Working knowledge of Docker (building images, writing Dockerfiles, and using Docker Compose).
- **Version Control:** Familiarity with Git workflows (branching, commits, pull requests).
- **Problem-Solving Mindset:** Methodical troubleshooting approach, high attention to operational safety, and curiosity to learn.

#### Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points, Not Required)
- Foundational experience with **Terraform** or OpenTofu (writing basic modules, understanding state files).
- Familiarity with **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** specifically (Compute Engine, VPCs, Artifact Registry).
- Exposure to **GitHub Actions** and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with reverse proxies like **Caddy** or NGINX.
- Basic understanding of relational database operations (e.g. PostgreSQL backups and restoration).

#### What We Offer
- **Direct Mentorship:** Learn directly from senior cloud architects who have built systems processing millions of transactions.
- **Zero Legacy Cruft:** Work on modern, clean infrastructure patterns (WIF, automated TLS, modern Linux kernels). No convoluted, unmaintained legacy setups.
- **High Impact:** Opportunity to contribute directly to production deployments, cost audits, and automation frameworks from day one.
- **Transparent Engineering Culture:** Meritocratic, highly collaborative, zero-ego team focused on building robust products.
- **Competitive Compensation:** Attractive salary package with performance bonuses and clear technical career ladders.

In this role, you will work alongside senior engineers to design, build, and maintain mission-critical backend services, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and database migrations. You will be exposed to enterprise software architecture (Ports and Adapters / Clean Architecture), automated CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments, gaining high-velocity mentorship and end-to-end feature ownership.

#### Key Responsibilities
- **Feature Engineering:** Develop and maintain clean, testable business services and APIs using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- **API & Contract Design:** Build RESTful endpoints and assist in GraphQL schema integrations for web and mobile frontends.
- **Database & Persistence:** Design relational data models, write efficient SQL queries, and manage database migrations using Flyway and PostgreSQL.
- **Testing & Quality Assurance:** Author comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit 5 and Mockito to guarantee reliability and prevent regressions.
- **Code Craftsmanship:** Participate in peer code reviews, follow strict architectural boundary rules (constructor injection, zero domain leakage), and maintain high documentation standards.
- **Continuous Learning:** Expand your skill set into Kotlin, reactive JVM programming, containerization (Docker), and cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS).

#### What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
